Jay Kirkby Holwell's First Team top scorer was awarded Footballer of the Year at the Melton Times Awards held in the Market Tavern on Thursday night.

This is great recognition for a good performance in his first season at Holwell Sports FC.

Jay just pipped Holwell's Reserve Team captain and Reserve League top scorer David Hazeldine who was "Highly Commended" in the same category, whilst Holwell Team Manager Simon Daws was "Highly Commended" in the Team Coach category.
