After three week of pre-season training it was back to working as a team as Holwell travelled to Grantham to take on a Harrowby side.
Both clubs used this as a basic run out with several substitutions as the intent was to get back into the way of playing together looking at new signings and giving opportunities to younger guys coming into recognition for the first time. As such it was not a great match but positives for bith sides.
I the first half Holwell were by far the most organised taking a two nil lead into half time with goals from Kieran Foster.
Harrowby were much better in the second string and soon recovered the score with two goals by mid way in the second half and finally edged out winners 3-2 when new signing goal keeper Jordan king was unlucky not to stop a shot through a group of defenders.
